The Willard City Council is set to meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 16 in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 631 S. Myrtle Ave., with proposed legislation, committee updates, board actions and financial reports listed in the newly released council agenda.
Ordinance No. 6004-25 is scheduled for a second reading. It would authorize the city manager to enter into an agreement with the highest bidder for the sale of city-owned property at 103 Fourth St.
Also on second reading is Ordinance No. 6006-25, which proposes an amendment to the 2025 annual appropriations in the Safety Services Income Tax Fund 216 for the current fiscal year.
Resolution No. 2633-25, titled "A resolution to adopt best practices for protecting sensitive data and systems," is also up for council consideration.
Council is expected to approve minutes from both the June 2 regular council meeting and the June 4 zoning board of appeals meeting.
Action on recommendations from the zoning board’s June 4 session is also included.

The finance director’s May 2025 report is listed for presentation and includes the monthly cash reconciliation, pooled cash report, fund balance report, treasurer’s report, budget report and income tax receipt summary.
Among other business, the city manager, Bryson Hamons, also is scheduled to deliver a report. It traditionally explains the proposed legislation before the seven-member council and offers updates on municipal government projects, and other efforts in the community.
