Teen missing from New London foster home as agency seeks public’s help
A 17-year-old boy left his foster home in New London on May 1 and has not been seen since, the Ottawa County Department of Job and Family Services said Friday.
The agency is asking for the public’s help in locating Asher Hicks, who is in the department’s custody, the department said via social media news release.
“We are very concerned for Asher’s safety,” the department said in a statement.
Asher was last seen the evening of May 1 in the New London community. His whereabouts are unknown.
Job and Family Services described Asher as 5 feet, 3½ inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds. He has short dark blond hair and blue eyes.
The department said Asher has friends and family in several Ohio communities, including Tiffin, Clyde, Sandusky and Port Clinton.
