Construction equipment has arrived at the intersection of Park and New London avenues for a sanitary sewer replacement and storm sewer installation project, New London Administrator Shawn Pickworth reports.

The project, costing $965,000, is funded through the Ohio Department of Development (ODOD).
The village of New London received $914,000 in grant funding and contributed a $51,000 match, Pickworth stated.
Detours for the construction will direct traffic to either High Street or Third Street so that motorists can get around the project.
“We do plan on maintaining traffic for those who live on New London Avenue," Pickworth said.
