List: ODOT projects in Huron County
ODOT is out with its latest list of road construction projects in HURON COUNTY.
Here's a look:
-- State Route 4 resurfacing – State Route 4, from the Seneca County line to U.S. 20, will be closed for 120 days for a resurfacing project. Project work will be completed in three phases of construction. Only local traffic will be maintained in the northbound direction. The detour route for all other motorists will be State Route 4 north to State Route 269 north to U.S. 20 east to State Route 4 and reverse for southbound traffic.
-- Phase 2: State Route 4, from State Route 547 to Opperman Road, is closed to complete pavement repairs. Only local traffic will be maintained in the northbound direction. All other motorists must follow the posted detour route. Estimated reopening: July 6
FUTURE
-- Phase 3: State Route 4, from Opperman Road to U.S. 20, will close Monday, July 7 for 40 days to complete pavement repairs. Only local traffic will be maintained in the northbound direction. All other motorists must follow the posted detour route. Estimate reopening: Aug. 16
The detour route for all three phases will be State Route 4 north to State Route 269 north to U.S. 20 east to State Route 4 and reverse for southbound traffic. Estimated completion of entire project: October
-- Urban paving project in Norwalk – In the city of Norwalk along U.S. 250 from S. Norwalk Road to Lais Road; and along State Route 61 from U.S. 20 to Will-O-Brook Mobile Home Park will have lane closures for a resurfacing project. Crews will begin sidewalk and curb ramp work that will have minimal impacts to traffic. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers when necessary. Resurfacing operations will begin along State Route 61 after Memorial Day. Some work at certain locations will be completed at night after 7:00 p.m. in order to decrease impacts to traffic. Estimated completion: October
-- State Route 13 reconstruction – State Route 13, from the Richland County line (Baseline Rd) to U.S. 250, will have single lane closures for a minor reconstruction. Project work includes pavement replacement, culvert repairs, and bridge maintenance work.
CONTINUING
-- State Route 13, between the Richland County line to U.S. 224, is closed for 150 days so crews can complete pavement reconstruction work. Only local traffic will be maintained in the northbound direction.
The detour route for northbound motorists will be State Route 13 north to State Route 603 north to State Route 61 north to U.S. 224 east to State Route 13 and reverse for southbound motorists. Estimated completion: Sept. 4
Estimated completion of entire project: October
-- State Route 61 culvert repairs – State Route 61, just north of Graham Road, will have single lane closures for culvert repairs. One 10-foot lane of traffic will be maintained. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers when necessary. Estimated completion: later this month
