List: New London police reports (June 11-13)
JUNE 13
2:07 p.m. Officer took report of an erratic driver eastbound coming into the village. The vehicle was located and contact made with the driver, who was OK.
10:55 a.m. A Third St. complainant reported hearing a sheep in the area of Birch Park Dr.
10:22 a.m. Complainant reported repossessing a vehicle from a High St. address.
7:58 a.m. Officer responded to an alarm activation at a Park Ave. business. The area was checked and everything was found to be OK.
12:02 a.m. Officer reported providing assistance to the Huron County Sheriff's Office with a traffic hazard in the area of U.S. 250, south of State Route 162 after a large amount of bread and shipping containers were scattered about the roadway.
JUNE 12
11:13 a.m. Officers reported conducting a civil standby on-station.
1:53 p.m. Officer reported providing lift assistance with squad personnel at a W. Main St. nursing facility. Patient was transported.
7:51 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with lift assistance of a N. Maple St. resident. Patient refused transport.
1:47 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Cedar St. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
12:27 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of W. Main and Grant St. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
12:05 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along E. Main and Walnut St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
June 11
9:39 p.m. Complainant arrived on-station to turn in found property.
5:36 p.m. Complainant arrived on-station to report finding a small white dog on State Route 62 and Chenango Rd. The dog possessed a tag. Ownership was verified and the owner was contacted for return of the canine.
2:40 p.m. An E. Main St. complainant reported hearing someone yelling for help in the area of Main and N. Maple St. A man was located mowing his yard and stated his foot got caught in the pedal of his riding mower but was now OK.
