APRIL 10
5:53 a.m. A N. Main St. business turned in two debit cards that had been left at the store.
4:13 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill High St. resident. Patient was transported.
APRIL 9
8:14 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park Ave and High St. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
8:06 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park and New London Ave. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
6:04 p.m. Officer reported conducting a vehicle lockout at an Akron St. business. A waiver was completed and entry was gained without incident.
4:59 p.m. Complainant reported a sick raccoon along Wildcat Dr. The animal ran off into the woods and was unable to be located by officers.
2:12 p.m. Officers took report of a student who had left the school without permission. The juvenile was located a short time later running along Walnut St. After consulting with his mother and the school, arrangements were made for him to be transported back to the school at which time he boarded the bus and was taken home without incident.
6:32 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill Windy Acres resident. Patient was transported.
APRIL 8
8:49 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Akron St. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
7:41 p.m. Complainant reported a parking violation in the area of S. Main St. within the business district. Contact was made with the vehicle owner, who was asked to move.
10:49 a.m. Officer reported conducting a vehicle lockout at a N. Main St. business. Entry was gained without incident.
2:58 a.m. Officer responded to an Akron St. business for an alarm activation. The premises was checked and contact was made with the business owner who was on site. It was determined to be a false alarm.
2:46 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park Ave and the south limits for speeding. Warning given.
12:32 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with a patient who had fallen at a W. Main St. nursing facility. Patient was transported.
12:12 a.m. Officer responded to a Clyde Ave. residence for an alarm activation. Contact was made with the home owners and the premises was checked without incident. It was determined to be a false alarm.
APRIL 7
8:55 p.m.Complainant reported losing her purse and believed it to be at an Akron St. business that had already closed for the day.
8:18 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for marked lanes and a turn signal violation. Warning given.
7:23 p.m. Complainant reported an aggressive dog at large in the area of W. Hooker and Clinton St. The canine was followed back to the residence where contact was made with the owner. The owner was given a warning.
7:10 p.m. A Birch Park Dr. complainant requested advise over a civil matter involving personal property.
6:15 p.m. Officer reported conducting a vehicle lockout at a W. Main St. business. Entry was gained without incident.
