10:52 p.m. Officers reported assisting squad personnel with an ill New London Ave. resident. Patient was transported.
7:04 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along W. Main St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
5:45 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
1:31 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for a registration violation. The operator was found to also be under suspension. Citation issued.
APRIL 30
11:27 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along E. Main and East St. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
10:23 p.m. Officer responded to a New Kirk St. residence for a 911 hang-up call. It was determined a juvenile was playing with the phone and everything was fine.
7:12 p.m.Officer initiated a traffic stop along Prospect and Blake St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
1:25 p.m. An E. Main St. business reported theft of merchandise by a patron. Restitution or possible charges were later requested.
7:39 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park Ave. for speeding in a school zone. Warning given.
4:26 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill High St. resident. Patient refused transport.
APRIL 29
11:57 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill patient at a W. Main St. nursing facility. Patient was transported.
9:57 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with report of a deceased person at a Shadyside Ave. residence.
12:08 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park Ave. for speeding. Warning given.
7:36 a.m. Officer reported removing a raccoon from an access point of NLHS. The animal was not sick and was relocated to a tree line without incident.
APRIL 28
5:19 p.m. An Ashland County resident reported having a peacock in her backyard. She stated she had contacted ACSO as well in an attempt to locate the owner. The incident was documented should the bird owner report it missing.
11:48 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Industrial Dr. for speeding after receiving multiple complaints about the matter. A citation was issued.
9:24 a.m. A township resident reported his juvenile son had run away from home after an argument. Assistance was provided to the Huron County Sheriff's Office by New London police, the New London Fire Department, Firelands Ambulance, and New London Water Department. The child was later located at school.
5:16 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill E. Main St. resident. Patient was transported.
APRIL 27
10:15 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along New London Ave. and Park Ave. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
9:39 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel and Huron County Sheriff's Office with an ill township resident. Patient was transported.
3:01 p.m. An Aster Court complainant reported being harassed by an acquaintance over a civil matter.
1:38 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Kirk St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
10:38 a.m. Officer responded to the intersection of First St. and a private alleyway for a non-injury crash.
9:06 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Biglow Pkwy. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
7:16 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with a Park Ave. resident who had fallen. Patient was transported.
APRIL 26
9:14 p.m. Officer responded to a Biglow Pkwy business for an alarm activation. Upon arrival the officer was advised everything was fine and could disregard.
8:09 p.m. A Pearl St. complainant reported a disturbance in the parking lot. The issue had been resolved prior to the officer's arrival.
7:06 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along W. Main and Shadyside Ave. for driving under suspension. Citation issued.
5:26 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Biglow Pkwy. for an equipment and registration violation. Citation issued.
4:37 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park and New London Ave. for following too closely. Warning given.
1:21 p.m. Officer responded to a Pearl St. residence for three separate 911 hang-up calls. It was determined everything was fine and a special needs child at the residence was playing with the phone.
11:48 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Biglow Pkwy. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
APRIL 25
11:05 p.m. A Chenango Rd. complainant reported being harassed by phone by a village resident. The parties were advised to cease communications.
8:36 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of S. Main and Prospect St. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
6:37 p.m. A Nadine Dr. complainant reported his neighbor had him blocked in. Contact was made with the responsible party and the vehicle was moved.
4:08 p.m. Officer reported assisting a disabled motorist in the area of W. Main and Shadyside Ave.
9:44 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with a Westwood Dr. resident who had fallen. Patient was provided assistance and refused transport.
12:08 p.m. Complainant reported a traffic complaint in the area of State Route 60 northbound coming into the village. The area was checked without the vehicle being located.
APRIL 24
8:33 p.m. A Clinton St. complainant reported his dog had been attacked by a neighbor's dog that was running loose. The canine was captured and turned over to the dog warden's office. The dog's owner was cited for dog at large and failing to file an annual dog license.
5:37 p.m. Officers and a Huron County Sheriff's deputy were dispatched to the area of Shadyside Ave. and W. Main St. for report of a disturbance involving a man with a gun. The suspect was arrested for aggravated menacing. Additional charges were later filed after it was discovered the firearm had been discharged into an occupied vehicle at the scene.
4:11 p.m. Officer was dispatched to a W. Main St. medical facility for an alarm activation. The premises was checked and everything checked OK.
