APRIL 23
2:39 a.m. Officer reported conducting a welfare check at an East St. address. Everything checked OK.
APRIL 22
10:13 p.m. A Shadyside Ave. complainant reported the hood of his vehicle had been damaged by an acquaintance approximately 45 days earlier.
8:08 p.m. Complainant reported losing her phone along E. Main St. The phone was later located by the complainant.
6:40 p.m. A Shadyside Ave. complainant requested a trespass notice be served to two subjects who frequent the home. One male was trespassed, while the female was not because she is an established resident of the premises.
2:06 p.m. Officer on patrol located two loose dogs in the area of E. Main and Maple St. The canine owner was notified and captured the dogs.
1:20 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Grant and Washburn St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
APRIL 21
10:42 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park Ave. and Wildcat Dr. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
10:05 p.m. Officer reported assisting a disabled motorist in the area of N. Main St.
6:34 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of S. Maple and High St. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
7:40 p.m. A township resident requested a welfare check on juveniles at an East St. residence. Everything checked OK.
7:19 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Fir St. for left of center. Warning given.
6:33 p.m. Officer reported conducting a vehicle lockout at a Cedar St. residence.
5:04 p.m. Officer took report of a windsurfer possibly in distress at the reservoir. First responders were dispatched, and it was quickly determined the complaint was unfounded.
4:05 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill Westwood Dr. resident. Patient was transported.
11:45 a.m. A Sherman St. complainant reported it appeared someone kicked in a door to a residence he oversees. The premises was checked for possible intruders without anyone being located.
8:32 a.m. An officer reported being bitten by a stray dog as he was placing the canine in the kennel. Minor injuries were noted.The officer was treated on scene and at the hospital. The dog warden took possession of the canine a short time later, and it was placed under quarantine.
APRIL 20
10:55 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill White Ave. resident. Patient was transported.
5:09 p.m. Officer reported assisting a Short Sherman St. complainant with locating her juvenile child who had run off. She was located a short time later.
3:42 p.m. Norwalk Police requested an officer make notification to a N. Main St. resident. Contact was unable to be made.
6:14 a.m. A Windy Acres complainant reported a strange odor coming from the second floor. Contact was made with a resident who was found to be preparing an Easter meal. Everything checked OK.
12:02 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park and New London Ave. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
APRIL 19
11:36 p.m. A Third St. resident reported being disturbed by his neighbor's barking dogs.
10:45 p.m.Complainant reported he and some friends were threatened at the drive-thru of a W. Main St. restaurant. No charges were requested.
8:40 p.m. Officer reported initiating a traffic stop along N. Main and Westwood Dr. for an equipment violation. Warning given.
7:26 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
3:26 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Hooker St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
2:42 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
11:36 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along E. Main and Maple St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
9:13 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park Ave. and Wildcat Dr. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
APRIL 18
8:22 p.m. Complainant requested assistance with a residential lockout at an Aster Ct. location. Entry gained.
7:05 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along First and Prospect St. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
6:47 p.m. Complainant reported finding a juvenile running in the street. She returned the child to the residence but her mother was not present. The mother was located and the child was returned. Children services was advised.
5:56 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and N. Railroad St. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
3:42 p.m. Officer responded to a W. Main St. medical facility for an alarm activation. The premises checked OK.
2:15 p.m. Officer was dispatched to Nadine Dr. for a welfare check. Upon arrival it was determined the resident was in need of medical assistance. A squad was dispatched and transported the resident.
10:13 a.m. Complainant arrived on station to request information on a civil matter.
6:52 a.m. Complainant reported two loose dogs in the area of the Rec. Park. They were unable to be captured.
APRIL 17
8:52 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along E. Main and Park Ave. for driving under suspension. Citation issued.
6:50 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along W. Main and Shadyside Ave. for a cancelled license. It was determined the operator had a valid out of state license.
5:10 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill Pearl St. resident. Patient was transported.
4:26 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park Ave. and High St. for the vehicle owner showing an active warrant out of Richland County Sheriff's Office. The male was taken into custody and transported to SR13 and Baseline Rd. where he was turned over to a deputy.
2:23 p.m. Officer was dispatched to assist New London Fire Department with a fire at a White Ave. residence. The fire was extinguished without damage being reported.
10:08 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill E. Main St. resident. Patient was transported.
8:33 a.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill Pearl St. resident. Patient was transported.
APRIL 16
11:30 p.m. Officer reported assisting a Wenz Rd. resident at the request of Huron County Sheriff's Office. Assistance rendered.
8:25 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along New London Ave. and Fairhome St. for a registration violation. A warning was given as the operator had recently been cited for the same violation.
6:15 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for a marked lanes violation. Warning given.
