MAY 25
11:58 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park and New London Ave. for the owner not having a valid license. The operator was not the owner and was released.
10:51 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Prospect and Blake St. for speeding. Warning given.
6:39 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park Ave. and Wildcat Dr. for speeding. Warning given.
2:51 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along W. Main and Grant St. for a window tint violation. Warning given.
1:03 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Akron St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
12:31 p.m. A N. Main St. business reported a juvenile had been dropped off and left without supervision. Upon the officer’s arrival, the adult party was back on scene. He indicated his sister refused to fasten her seatbelt after leaving their previous stop, so he made her get out, wanting to teach her a lesson. The juvenile's mother was contacted and picked up the child.
MAY 24
10:19 p.m. A S. Main St. complainant reported capturing on surveillance someone trespassing on his premises. The responsible party was identified and spoken to. The complainant declined charges.
8:21 p.m. Officer was dispatched to a 911 hang-up call at a First St. residence. Everything checked OK.
8:13 p.m. Officer reported conducting a vehicle lockout at the reservoir campground.
7:07 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park and Clyde Ave. for a registration violation. Warning given.
6:40 p.m. Complainant reported unwanted subjects at a Prospect St. address. Upon the officer's arrival, it was determined they had permission.
5:15 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along W. Main and Grant St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
1:17 a.m. Officer responded to a Third St. address for a disturbance. A female was subsequently issued a summons for disorderly conduct/ intoxication.
MAY 23
11:11 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park and New London Ave. for an equipment and registration violation. Warning given.
10:47 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along W. Main and Johnson Dr. for failure to signal. Warning given.
8:37 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along W. Main and Shadyside Ave. for marked lanes. Warning given.
7:41 p.m. An Aster Ct. complainant requested extra patrol of the area after a disagreement with a neighboring tenant.
6:46 p.m. A High St. complainant reported losing his cell phone somewhere in town.
4:35 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Short Sherman and Clinton St. for passing in a no passing zone. Warning given.
4:19 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along E. Main and James St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
3:58 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Prospect and S. Main St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
3:04 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill subject at a N. Main St. business. Patient was transported.
2:08 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along E. Main and Biglow Pkwy. for driving under suspension. The operator was not the registered owner and was released.
1:11 p.m. Complainant reported a reckless operator in the area of the school during morning dropoffs. Extra patrols of the area will be conducted.
