May 13
5:07 a.m. Complainant requested a welfare check on a First St. resident. Everything checked OK.
May 12
9:11 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill Shadyside Ave. resident. Patient was transported.
6:44 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop in the area of W. Main and Shadyside Ave. for a license violation. The operator was not the registered owner and was released.
5:28 p.m. Officer responded to Windy Acres for an elevator alarm being activated. Assistance rendered.
4:46 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
4:06 p.m. Officer was dispatched to Windy Acres along with NLFD to assist a subject who was stuck in the elevator due to a power outage. Assistance was rendered without incident.
2:55 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
2:16 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for driving under suspension. It was determined the operator was not the registered owner and was released.
1:23 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
11:59 a.m. Officers reported assisting squad personnel with lift assistance at a W. Main St. nursing facility. Patient was transported.
10:17 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Park and New London Ave. for a license violation. Warning given.
9:13 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Biglow Pkwy. for a registration violation. During the stop it was discovered the operator was driving under suspension. He was issued a citation for DUS (driving under suspension) and expired registration. His passenger was also arrested on an active warrant out of Ashland County through the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He was transported to Bailey Lakes and released to a trooper without incident.
MAY 11
10:46 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Third St. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
8:39 p.m. Officer took report of a group of motorcycles driving erratically southbound along State Route 60 from Wakeman. The officer sat at the north corporate limits for several minutes without locating the bikes.
7:38 p.m. Officer reported providing a civil standby at a Third St. residence.
5:23 p.m. Officer responded to a New London Ave. residence for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was determined to be a juvenile who was being unruly.
MAY 10
10:22 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Biglow Pkwy. for driving under suspension. The operator was not the owner and was released without incident.
9:19 p.m. Officer on patrol observed a pedestrian walking along N. Railroad St. who appeared to be intoxicated. The subject was given a courtesy ride to his residence.
8:51 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Biglow Pkwy. for a registration violation. Warning given.
6:35 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill Coleman Ct. resident. Patient was transported.
5:40 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and Hooker St. for a registration violation. Citation issued.
4:29 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with a Windy Acres resident who had fallen. Transport was declined.
3:11 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along N. Main and E. Fir St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
2:36 p.m. Officer was dispatched to a Charles Pkwy. business for a 911 hang-up call. Everything checked OK.
1:12 p.m.Complainant reported a group of juveniles playing in the creek near the fire station. The children were gone upon the officer's arrival.
12:32 p.m. Officer was dispatched to a Williams St. address for an alarm activation. Everything checked OK.
9:39 a.m. A Pearl St. complainant reported the theft of her purse from her vehicle. The officer and victim walked the area and later located the purse but the cash had been removed.
1:28 a.m. Officer was dispatched to a Park Ave. bank for an alarm activation. The premises was checked and found to be secure.
1 a.m. An E. Main St. complainant reported hearing a suspicious noise and thought someone may have been in her apartment. The area was checked without anyone being located.
May 9
10:28 p.m. Officer was dispatched to a single vehicle crash north of New London. Assistance was rendered until OSP arrived on scene.
6:29 p.m. A Township complainant reported her Beagle had run away from her residence and requested to be contacted if it was turned in.
6:26 p.m. Complainant reported her debit card had been collected by the ATM machine along N. Main St. She was instructed to contact the bank for assistance.
5:38 p.m. Complainant requested a welfare check on his children. The juveniles were located and in good health. He was advised.
4:16 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along S. Main and Prospect St. for a registration violation. Warning given.
