List: New London police calls (April 23-24)
APRIL 24
12:05 a.m. Officer reported providing a civil standby at a Coleman Ct. address while property was exchanged.
10:09 a.m. Complainant flagged down an officer along N. Main St. to report an unattended infant in the area. The parent was located, and the two were reunited. The incident was forwarded to children services.
1:12 a.m. Officer reported assisting a disabled tractor-trailer at N. Main and N. Railroad St. The officer stood by until a tow truck arrived. CSX was contacted to cease rail traffic while the tow truck hooked to the truck for removal.
APRIL 23
10:22 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill Westwood Dr. resident. The patient was transported.
6:19 p.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop along Prospect and Blake St. for excessive smoke. The driver was found to be suspended. A citation was issued.
4:36 p.m. A W. Hooker St. complainant reported a low-hanging utility wire over her driveway. Spectrum was contacted and sent a technician to correct the issue.
1:13 p.m. Officer reported assisting squad personnel with an ill Aster Ct. resident. Patient was transported.
12:18 p.m. Officer reported providing a prisoner transport to Norwalk Municipal Court from the Huron County Jail without incident.
