Momentum is continuing as New London Local Schools near completion of the district's new football stadium and track.
On Friday, the school district announced the installation of the new scoreboard and the press box.
"Even the bitter cold doesn’t stop our partners from Mosser Construction,” the district announced in a social media update. "Our new stadium project is almost done!!!”

The groundbreaking for the football stadium and track facility was this past May as part of a projected $4.7 million effort.
Construction was initially projected to be complete in time for the 2025 football season. However, dry and favorable weather conditions expedited the timeline by many months.
The district expects the facility to be completed by year's end and available for the 2025 spring track and field season.
On Oct. 25, New London Schools concluded its 55-season run at the village's Wildcat Stadium across town. Led by the New London parks and recreation leadership, discussions are underway through the village government on future use for the stadium.
